Join us for a meaningful day of movement, awareness, and celebration at the Step Up for Sickle Cell: WALK & ROLL Fun Fair! 

This FREE, family-friendly event is open to everyone and designed for all ability levels with barrier-free access.

What to Expect

Get ready for a day packed with inspiration and fun! We encourage you to wear red to show your solidarity with our sickle cell warriors.

The 1-Mile Walk & Roll: Show your support by participating in our inclusive 1-mile walk and roll, designed for all abilities. All registered walkers will receive a free event t-shirt.

Inspiring Stories & Insights: Hear powerful stories directly from sickle cell warriors and gain valuable insights from leading state and local physicians and advocates.

Vibrant Family Fun Fair: Enjoy a fantastic family fun day with a variety of activities for all ages, including:

  • Family field games, a kids bubble run/candy dash
  • Giveaways and valuable community resources from health and wellness vendors
  • A blood drive from our partners at Versiti Blood Center of Michigan
  • Food trucks
  • Photo booth w/props

Blood Drive

Your donation can be a heroic act! ❤️🩸

Step up and show your support for our sickle cell warriors by donating blood at our mobile blood drive. For many, regular blood transfusions are a lifeline, helping them fight daily battles with pain and complications

Your participation is a direct way to provide hope and strength to those who need it most.

Registration is preferred to help us manage traffic, but walk-ins are also welcome.
