FAQs
What does returning learners mean?
A returning learner is any individual who finished high school and may have started a program in college and didn’t finish, or an individual who never went to college and wants to start.
What does the program offer?
Our goal is to enhance the diversity of our Grand Rapids healthcare workforce. We support adults going back to school to earn certificates or credentials in a health professions major. My Pace offers advising support, mentorship, career and professional development, and more.
Do all adults who apply to the program get in?
Yes. We use a first-come first serve admissions process, and we use a cohort model. Once we have 10 or more students, we host our Introduction Session.
How many students does this program service?
We have capacity to service 10 -15 at one time. Because we offer individualized advising support, we are intentional about ensuring our cohort size and supporting everyone to transition to our Legacy Pacesetter group.
